Horticulture New Zealand has opened applications for its 2026 scholarship program, offering 20 funding opportunities for future horticulture leaders.
Each year, the organization, which represents over 4,300 commercial growers in New Zealand, provides scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees.
The scholarships target students with a special interest in the commercial fruit and vegetable industry, according to HortNZ Chief Executive Kate Scott.
Through our scholarship programme HortNZ is strongly focused on attracting, supporting, developing and retaining skilled young people to become innovators and leaders in the industry.
