www.classic.co.ukThe Lostwithiel garden center is a private estate-operated garden center near Lostwithiel, Cornwall following a half-century expansion plan plus ongoing extensions featuring a newer extension, retail space, and an Orangery restaurant. The Prince of Wales visited the site in July 2023 to see the extension, glasshouse, and gardens. Duchy revenue funds the Duke’s public, private, and charitable work. Located on the Duchy estate and is part of a long-standing estate operation which began public access in 1975. The site has grown through a 50-year plan. It is widely regarded as one of the South West’s leading nurseries. The Duchy nursery continues to expand facilities including a new extension and maintains a focus on nature and horticulture.
