A federal judge turned down laws backed by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The rules let undocumented students pay cheaper in-state tuition at state schools. Earlier court decisions also struck down Illinois’ sanctuary laws and other Pritzker steps on immigration. The Trump administration has also been winning similar cases. No comment yet from the Illinois Attorney General on this ruling.
