Latest News About Toyota issues major recall over steering defect

Toyota recalled more than 5,000 brand new vehicles. The problem centres on a steering defect that could affect control. The recall covers three-row SUVs with a fault that might harm the cars before they even reach buyers.

In addition, nearly 250,000 Tundra V6 trucks were added to the recall. Pistons in the engines could fracture. Owners of some Tacoma pickups also reported cracks in the back glass on warm days. Most warranty claims to fix the glass at extreme temperatures are denied.
