Rutgers Health leadership recognized Hailey Sulzbach and Angela Zhao for their unique qualities, including compassion, humility, and vision to address health disparities.
The two medical school students were named Chancellor's Scholars, a prestigious scholarship developed by Rutgers Health Chancellor Brian Strom.
"The scholarship is really intended to attract and keep superstars, and it's been working that way," said Strom.
Each year, two first-year medical school students are selected for this scholarship, one from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the other from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
