NHS Launches AI Trial for Prostate Cancer Diagnosis
The NHS has initiated a trial using artificial intelligence (AI) to diagnose prostate cancer up to a month faster.
The trial, which is being tested in hospitals across England, aims to reduce waiting times and detect cancer earlier, potentially improving outcomes for thousands of men.

If the AI software identifies a high-risk cancer, it will be sent immediately to a radiologist for a priority review, and the patient will be booked in for a biopsy the same day.
